Stories worth keeping

A phone call becomes a family heirloom.

Clara is a warm AI companion who calls your parent or grandparent on the phone they already have — and truly listens. The wedding day. The first job. The house on Maple Street. After every call, your family keeps the recording, the transcript, and a beautifully written story.

No apps. No passwords. Just a regular phone call.

Thursday, August 6 Delighted

Margaret spent the morning baking her famous coconut cake for Jacob’s eleventh birthday — seven layers, toasted coconut on top, the same recipe her mother brought home from the diner in 1962. And then, out of nowhere, the story of the fishing trip where Robert proposed.

“He had the ring in his tackle box. Pulled it out covered in fish scales. I laughed so hard I cried.”
— Margaret, on the day Robert proposed

The story Clara wrote after one call — kept beside the full recording and transcript.

Mom lights up on Thursdays now. And you finally know the story of the house on Maple Street.

Now onboarding a small group of families each week.

How it works

You set it up once. Clara does the calling.

  1. Tell Clara about your loved one

Who they are, what they love to talk about, and when to call. It takes five minutes, once — then Clara takes it from there.

  2. Clara calls them

A warm, unhurried conversation on their regular phone — comfortable with pauses, happy to follow a tangent. She remembers last week’s thread and picks it right back up. Calls are recorded so the family can listen later.

  3. Your family keeps the stories

After every call: the recording, a clean transcript, and a written story — searchable, shared with everyone you invite.

The family app

Every story, every call — all in one place.

Your loved one never touches a screen — their whole experience is a friendly phone call. The beautiful app is for the rest of the family.

The Memory Player

Listen to any call — or tap a line of the transcript and the audio jumps to that exact moment. That laugh, mid-story, right where it happened.

“…toasted coconut on top, seven layers. It’s been at every birthday for sixty-two years.”

Ask the archive

Every conversation becomes searchable. Ask a question, and the answer comes back drawn from their own calls — in their own words.

“How did Mom meet Dad?” Answered from their calls, with the moments to listen to.

A gentle pulse

A soft, human note after each call — how they sounded, what made them light up. Never charts, never dashboards.

The whole care team

One person subscribes; siblings and grandkids come along, sharing every new story in the same archive.

Emily, Jacob, Sophie & the whole family — all in one archive.

The gentle nudge

Clara can weave reminders into the conversation — the afternoon pill, Thursday’s cardiology appointment, Jacob’s birthday. Mentioned the way a friend would. Never an alarm.

Clara is a companion, not a medical or emergency service.

Who it’s for

Made for the people who love them.

Sons & daughters

You call when you can and worry in between. Clara adds warm conversation to the week — with the quiet peace of mind that Mom or Dad sounds like themselves today, and the stories you always meant to ask about, finally kept. Oceans and timezones don’t change it: the stories reach you wherever you wake up.

Grandchildren

Grandkids join the same shared archive — listening on the train, asking follow-ups at Sunday dinner. These stories will be theirs someday; the printed memoir most of all.

The whole family

No forwarded voice memos, no shoebox of tapes — one beautiful, searchable place that grows every week, open to everyone you invite.

For communities. Clara is built for families — and a natural fit for senior-living communities looking to add enrichment and family connection for residents. If that’s you, mention your community when you request access.

Keepsakes · coming soon

What every call is quietly building toward.

Week by week, Clara’s conversations will gather into A Life in Stories — a printed, hardcover memoir in your loved one’s own words, with an audio documentary of their voice to play alongside it. Beta families will be the first to hear when it’s ready.

Questions

Everything families ask us.

Do they know they’re talking to an AI?

Yes — always. Clara introduces herself as an AI companion on the first call and never pretends otherwise. Most people stop thinking about it a few minutes in; a good listener is a good listener.

What do they need on their end?

A phone that rings. Landline or mobile, flip phone or smartphone — nothing to install, charge, or remember. Clara calls them.

What if they miss a call?

Clara leaves a warm voicemail and mentions when she’ll call next — and they can always call Clara back, any time the mood strikes. You’ll see the missed call in the app, where rescheduling takes a few taps.

What if they don’t warm up to Clara?

Most people need a call or two. You can adjust the topics and how often she calls, anytime — and if it’s not right for your family, cancel with one click.

Who can hear the recordings?

Only the family members you invite. Every recording, transcript, and story stays inside your family’s private archive — our privacy policy spells out exactly how it’s protected.

Can Clara remind them about medications and appointments?

Yes — woven gently into conversation, the way a friend would mention it. Clara is a companion, not a medical or emergency service.

Can Clara bring up the things that matter this week?

Yes — tell Clara what matters (a check-up, a birthday, a worry) and she’ll weave it into the conversation naturally. Family requests always come first.
